Largest edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show concludes, opening a new nautical season
For four days, Marina Baotić in Seget Donji felt like peak season – stunning vessels, many international guests and a great atmosphere.
Seget Donji, April 19, 2026 – The sound of a ship’s horn echoed through Marina Baotić at 6 p.m. on Sunday, marking the close of another successful international boat show. It was an emotional moment for exhibitors, visitors and the organiser alike. The Dalmatia Boat Show ended exactly as befits an event that has gained serious momentum in just three years: fully occupied pontoons, a vibrant marina and 15,000 visitors from across Europe.
Seget Donji once again confirmed a trend that has been evident in the nautical industry for some time – springtime in the Mediterranean carries a unique appeal that no exhibition hall, no matter how large or expensive, can replicate. This year brought together a record 180 exhibitors, while the line-up – from smaller boats to high-end yachts, with 200 vessels in total – was the strongest to date. In short, anyone with something to showcase was here.
Over the four days, the sun and the sea did their part, with vessels presented in their natural setting. Business was conducted, connections were made, and visitors enjoyed the outstanding atmosphere and entertainment programme – because this is, after all, a show. The terraces of the restaurants and poolside bars at Marina Baotić, overlooking the yachts, were packed, with a mix of languages from around the world creating a true high-season buzz.
A new nautical season begins
With the Dalmatia Boat Show, the new nautical season on the Adriatic has officially begun. The event has proven itself as a key meeting point for everyone who matters in the industry – from manufacturers and service providers to buyers, both domestic and international.
At the end of another nautical spectacle, organiser and owner Željko Baotić summed it up:
“We are only at our third edition, and we have already become an important meeting point for the entire nautical sector – not only in Croatia, but beyond. From the initial 120 exhibitors, to 150 last year, and now 180 this year, it is clear that we have found the right timing and the right location. April is ideal, and our advantage lies in having a fully developed infrastructure – a marina that operates year-round. From the very beginning, I looked at the bigger picture and did not focus solely on the domestic market. Nautical tourism is an international business, and it should be built that way. In our marina, only one percent of boaters are local, while 99 percent of the workforce comes from Croatia, which adds value and stability to the industry. I would especially like to thank the exhibitors – they are the foundation of every boat show, and without them, a story like this would not be possible.”
See you at the fourth edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show, from April 15 to 18 next year.
