Environmental Action for Cleaning the Sea and Educational – Workshop for Children

As part of the Dalmatia Boat Show, in collaboration with the Sv. Roko Association from Bibinje, an environmental action to clean the seabed, and an educational malacological workshop for children from Seget Donji Primary School will be held. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the sea and the environment and to encourage children to participate actively in nature conservation.

Waste on the seabed represents a serious ecological problem, and members of the Bibinje association will retrieve it. The children will help rescue marine organisms found in the waste and return them to their natural habitat.

Along with cleaning the seabed, the children from Seget Donji will release bio-balls into the sea. These natural ecological tools, for water purification, were made in January from clay, effective microorganisms, and other natural ingredients.

An educational lecture for the children will be held by scientist Melita Peharda Ujević from the Split Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries.
